About Rink Reels

Built at the Rink.

Rink Reels started because recording hockey was getting easier every year, but actually using the footage was still frustrating.

VEO, LiveBarn, and a phone on a tripod can give a team hours of video. The hard part was never getting the footage — it was finding the moments that matter and turning them into something a player can learn from.

We started by doing that work by hand: watching full games, cutting shifts, building reels for families and coaches. It worked, but it didn't scale — the people who needed the video most were the ones waiting longest for it.

So we built the tool we were already using. Import a game, find the play, clip it, tag it, draw on it, build a reel, send it. And if you'd still rather hand the whole thing off, we do that too.

Who it's built for

The Three People at Every Rink

For coaches

A video session players remember

Tagged clips and drawings instead of a full-game replay nobody watches.

For players

Their own game, on repeat

Every shift, saved and reviewable — the fastest way most players improve.

For parents

The season, kept

The goals and the growth, organized instead of buried in a camera roll.

From the team

We Still Go to the Games.

Rink Reels is built by hockey parents, coaches, and videographers who got tired of watching great shifts disappear into full-game replays. Every feature in the app exists because we needed it on a Tuesday night first.
